Baby Basics
Baby Basics was set up to help new mothers with the basic essentials and equipment to take care of their newborns.
We made:
128 blankets
376 clothing items.

KipBag
KipBags are a pack of essential items designed to keep the homeless warm, clean and restore some of their dignity. We worked with Kipbag over a 6 month period to knit and crochet lots of hats and scarves. We also donated many other items to be included in the bags, such as socks, gloves, soap and hygiene products.
We made:
348 hats

248 pairs of socks
1184 other items.

Operation Orphan
Operation Orphan are a charity operating globally to provide proactive support to children who are living without parents. Their work helps to keep children safe, warm and healthy and to increase their access to education.
We made and donated:
412 blankets
491 children’s hats 421 scarves
478 mitts
410 pairs of socks.

Breastfeeding Together
Breastfeeding Together work to support the health and wellbeing of families and children through information provisions and skilled help – from pregnancy to early years and beyond.
We made:
417 blankets 436 bandana bibs
300 boob hats
224 baby mitts.

St Anne’s Resource Centre
St Anne’s Community Services work to support people living homeless in Leeds. They offer a daytime refuge and provide a wide range of support and services to assist vulnerable people.
We made and donated:
205 hats 95 scarves
241 other items.

National Police Aid Convoys (NPAC)
NPAC distribute aid containers to supply hospitals, clinics and schools, as well as supporting smaller charities with transport and logistics all over the world. They also respond to emergencies, such as natural disasters and refugee crises. Our work with NPAC is on-going into 2021.
So far we have made:
302 single bed-sized blankets
128 children’s jumpers.

Martin House Hospice
Martin House provides family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support families from across West, North and East Yorkshire, both at their hospice and in the community.
So far we have made:
3154 items to be sold in the Hospice shop.

Smalls for All
Smalls for All® is a Scottish charity which collects underwear to give to adults and children in need in Africa and the UK.
We donated:
532 items.

St James Hospital
St James Hospital asked us to make pairs of bonding squares to be used on their neonatal ward.
We made:
1029 pairs.

Warming up the Homeless
Warming up the Homeless is a charity based in Hasting, Eastbourne and Bexhill. They work in teams to distribute food, clothes, sleeping bags and more to those in need, and help to connect people with additional support services.
We made and donated:
484 hats
380 scarves
230 mitts/gloves 341 children’s hats, scarves, gloves and clothing items
150 baby blankets
562 baby hats, mitts and clothing items
596 other items.

St James’ and Leeds General Infirmary Hospitals
This is an on-going effort to provide lots of knitted and crocheted newborn baby hats for hospitals in Leeds
So far we have made:
1238 baby hats.

Hidden Homeless Leeds
Hidden Homeless Leeds are a grassroots charity supporting vulnerable communities with food and drink, tents, clothes, sleeping bags etc.
We made and donated:
507 hats
261 scarves
131 pairs of gloves
530other items.

Hartlepool Baby Bank
Hartlepool Baby Bank collect donations of clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children to support local families dealing with challenging circumstances..
So far we have made and donated:
119 jumpers
40 baby clothing sets
151 other items.
