In 2021 we are continuing our work with Martin House, Leeds Baby Bank, Breastfeeding Together and the National Police Aid Conveys, as well as many other charities and groups.


The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals
We made blankets for palliative care services and dementia care at The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. We are also knitted and crocheted comfort dolls for The Complex Needs Team.
We made:
60 twiddlemuffs
106 bears 108 octopus
173 blankets
54 syringe bags
25 dolls.

Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at Harrogate Hospital
The Special Care Baby Unit takes care of babies that are born from 32 weeks gestation to term.
We made:
250 blankets.

1 Community
One Community is an independent charity providing voluntary sector support and community development in Eastleigh & Fareham. 
We made:
1040 poppies for Remembrance Day
108 blankets
99 twiddlemuffs.

Baby Basics
Baby Basics was set up in 2009 as a response to the growing need for practical help for new mothers unable to afford the basic essentials and equipment necessary to look after their newborns.
So far we have made:
237 blankets 287 jumpers
118 cardigans
8 clothing sets.

Breastfeeding Together
Breastfeeding Together work to support the health and wellbeing of families and children through information provisions and skilled help – from pregnancy to early years and beyond.
So far we have made:
920 baby bellies 68 star blankets.

National Police Aid Convoys (NPAC)
NPAC distribute aid containers to supply hospitals, clinics and schools, as well as supporting smaller charities with transport and logistics all over the world. They also respond to emergencies, such as natural disasters and refugee crises. Our work with NPAC is on-going.
So far we have made:
500 single bed-sized blankets
63 baby blankets
221 children’s jumpers.

Martin House Hospice
Martin House provides family-led care for children and young people with life-limiting conditions. They support families from across West, North and East Yorkshire, both at their hospice and in the community.
So far we have made:
3587 items to be sold in the Hospice shop.

Smalls for All
Smalls for All® is a Scottish charity which collects underwear to give to adults and children in need in Africa and the UK.
We have donated:
915 items.

St James’ and Leeds General Infirmary Hospitals
This is an on-going effort to provide lots of knitted and crocheted newborn baby hats for hospitals in Leeds
So far we have made:
1238 baby hats.

Hidden Homeless Leeds
Hidden Homeless Leeds are a grassroots charity supporting vulnerable communities with food and drink, tents, clothes, sleeping bags etc.
So far we have made and donated:
567 hats
290 scarves
138 pairs of gloves
633 other items.

Hartlepool Baby Bank
Hartlepool Baby Bank collect donations of clothes, toys and equipment for babies and children to support local families dealing with challenging circumstances..
So far we have made and donated:
582 other items.

AberNecessities
AberNecessities is a local, non-profit charity with the aim of supporting underprivileged families in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
So far we have made:
72 jumpers
3 blankets
61 sets of hats and mittens.

Calderdale Hospital
A group of volunteers who collect crisp packets and recycle them into warm, dry Survival blankets & Bivvy bags for the Homeless and vulnerable members of the public who are struggling.
So far we have made:
233 red hats
72 red blankets
200 yellow hats
63 yellow blankets
217 green hats
63 green blankets.

Crisp Packet Project Leeds Homeless
A group of volunteers who collect crisp packets and recycle them into warm, dry Survival blankets & Bivvy bags for the Homeless and vulnerable members of the public who are struggling.
