These guys are absolutely amazing! not only do they produce literally hundreds of items for charity they are completely immersed in the Kirkstall Valley community and are supportive of all that is going on. whether that is knitting/crocheting lap blankets for Christmas presents for ‘golden oldies’, making scarves for homeless people or hats for premature babies. They even yarn bombed the local highstreets and a lock on the Leeds Liverpool canal. They have raised several thousand pounds for the Ukraine crisis I the blink of an eye.
The biggest impact of the Hookers and Clickers is that they are a supportive group which brings people together with a shared purpose reducing loneliness and isolation.
